Configure appearance, editor behavior, and preferences.

Open Settings with Cmd+, or from the app menu.

General

• Notes: manage your vault list (add folders, remove vaults). See Vaults & Workspaces.
• Rename new notes immediately: when enabled, creating a new note starts inline renaming so you can type a title right away
• Anonymous telemetry: opt in or out of anonymous usage analytics (no note contents are collected)

Appearance

Choose between System, Light, and Dark mode. System follows your macOS appearance setting.

Editor

• Font family: pick any installed system font, or use the default system font
• Font size: adjustable from 12 to 24 points
• Native Mermaid renderer: enable the experimental native diagram renderer (disable to use the mermaid.js fallback)
• IFrame allowed hosts: a list of hostnames (one per line) that are permitted to render as inline web views when you use <iframe> tags in your notes

Reminders

• Default reminder: automatically add a reminder duration to due dates that don't specify one (5 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 1 day, or Off)
• Notify at due time: send a notification when a task's due time arrives, in addition to any earlier reminder
• Reminder sound: toggle the notification sound on or off
